Low Barrier and Free Resources

Wherever you are in your journey, there is something here for you.

This page was created as a companion to the work Denise does alongside the Internal Medicine Specialists at the BC Centre for Long COVID, ME/CFS, & Fibromyalgia (BC-CLMF). Whether you found your way here through the clinic or through your own search, you are welcome here.

Denise's intention has always been to make her work as accessible as possible. Not everyone is ready for, or has the resources for, a one-on-one program. This page gathers her free resources and lowest-barrier offerings in one place, so that wherever you are in your journey, there is something here for you.

If you are new to Denise's work, the podcast episode she recorded with Internal Medicine Specialists, Dr. Ric Arseneau, MD FRCPC MA(Ed) MBA FACP CGP, and Dr. Jane McKay, BSP MD FRCPC FACP, is a good place to start. Listen to that conversation here.

EmbodiedSoul with Denise Elysa — Accessibility Membership

A warm, shame-free path into community, guided healing tools, and ongoing support.

The EmbodiedSoul with Denise Elysa Community brings together all of Denise's current workshops, guided practices, somatic practices, meditations, energetic transmissions, live events, and ongoing community support in one place, valued at over $1,000 CAD. Members also have direct access to Denise through the community forum, where she engages personally and answers questions.

As her one-on-one waitlist grew and her own training and work expanded considerably, it became clear that finding a way to meet more people where they are financially was the next right step. Government funding changes have also impacted access to the support of allied-health professionals available through the medical system, and additionally, the BC-CLMF clinic's work remains accessible only to its patients. These are barriers that made creating an accessibility program within her already-lower-cost community option feel like the right step forward. The Accessibility Membership tier exists because of that.

"It is my deep desire to meet you where you're at and serve to the best of my ability while honouring the limitations that come with complex chronic illnesses, financial barriers or other physical accessibility barriers." — Denise Elysa

The Accessibility Membership is available on an honour system. If you feel you would benefit from what EmbodiedSoul has to offer and a financial accessibility tier would best support you right now, this is your warm, shame-free invitation.

If even the accessibility tier feels out of reach, reach out directly at support@deniseelysa.com and Denise will see what can be worked out.

Denise Elysa

Denise Elysa is a practitioner and teacher of multiple modalities including somatic inquiry, intuitive energy healing, past life regression, oracle card reading and meditation. Blending somatic inquiry, somatic parts work, nervous-system informed education, intuition and grounded spirituality, she helps people who feel disconnected or chronically unwell reconnect with themselves, increase their capacity and awaken their inner healer, without requiring medical validation or overwhelming routines.

While Denise works with guests of all different lifestyles, needs and backgrounds, she holds a special place in her heart for those living with complex chronic diseases such as ME/CFS, MCAS, Fibromyalgia, POTS, hEDS, Lyme disease and co-infections, as well as other coexisting conditions. After years of navigating her own recovery through over 30 different medical diagnoses, she is living out what she considers to be her life's work by supporting others in the same methods that got her out of a wheelchair and a life filled with anxiety, depression and disconnection, and back to herself. She does this through her online community - EmbodiedSoul with Denise Elysa, her 1:1 sessions - particularly her Bridge to Embodiment Program, and through her podcast - Coming Home to Ourselves with Denise Elysa. Additionally, she is contracted to two of the Internal Medicine Specialists at the BC-CLMF to co-facilitate group sessions for their patients.

How is Denise’s work different from others?

  • Over 13 years of experience in professionally supporting people with their health and wellbeing
  • Lived experience navigating complex chronic illness, Lyme disease and co-infections, autoimmune diseases, chronic pain conditions, trauma, disability, neurodivergence and nervous system healing
  • Contracted to Internal Medicine Specialists to co-facilitate offerings to their patients living with complex chronic diseases such as ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Post-Viral Illness, LC, MCAS, POTS, Chronic Pain, hEDS, and other co-occurring conditions
  • Foundation of her energy healing work is based in Therapeutic Touch® and acknowledged by the Therapeutic Touch International Association as meeting all criteria for each of their courses and is a member in good standing with the BCTTNS
